Ok, I know that you need to have a certain number of parts to make a rifle an AW. But what if the rifle does not have a flash hider. I have a post ban AR and Have a collapsabe stock that has been pinned shut. Well my brother-in-law does , from his preban. Justr wanted to know how many parts would make it illegal and if I could legaly do it.

Thx.

On a post-ban AR-15 rifle you can have ONE of the following:

1. A folding or telescopic stock;
2. A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon;
3. A bayonet mount;
4. A flash suppressor or threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flash suppressor or a grenade launcher;
