I have a legality question here, I currently have the Post-ban Bushy M4 with the mini-y comp and I'm planning to send it to KKF for a new brake, would I need to be worried about it being mistakened for a real flash suppressor which I assume are illegal for post-bans? How can one really tell, is there certain dimensions or features? It will be permanently attached and within 16" too.

A flash suppressor is open at the end, and a muzzle brake is more enclosed, usually having a hole only slightly larger than the bore. I wouldn't worry about it, but if you are, I'm sure Kurt will include a copy of the ATF letter with it, if you ask him to.
