Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Upper reciever I.D.

Does anyone have a list of upper reciever manufacturer markings to help in Identifying which manufacturer made it? I am actually looking for an I.D. on an upper with a keyhole stamp on the right side near the rear sight on an A2 upper.Any help would be appreciated.thanks

They're very well made and well finished receivers that appear on a number of manufacturer's firearms and, to date, no one has been able to give a definite answer as to their origin.
