they've been somewhere. i don't know who can wear a mag until it's yellow just going to the range and back for casual shooting. i'm willing to guess they've been trained with a lot at least.

Get an M1 Garand from the CMP, I bet alot of these Garands saw combat.

We threw most away after using them. Came pre-loaded in bandoliers, and usually didn't take the time to retrieve and relaod them. Depended on how often re-supplied, sometimes had to re-load them from stripper clips.

I have a M1 Garand from CMP That beauty never seen action, it was rebuilt in 65,and put in storage, stock is original with few dings. I'M sure some did, but most parts have been replaced by now. My rifle probably was just used in training not for combat.

i know for a fact some of my WWII pieces saw the elephant. None of my AR mags have though.

I know its not an AR but I have my grandfather's 1911 he carried as a pilot. And it still shoots straight!

I have one that may have, its a colt20 marked .223, a coworker brought it back with him,then agian its in pretty good shape so maybe not much combat.He was a door gunner on a huey bout 68 or 69...........

I have 3 pitted and dented yet fully servicable M14 mags that helped send a lot of 7.62mm NATO downrange in Da Nang, Vietnam, 1965-66. A family friend gave them to me.

A buddy of mine who is an armorer is bringing me a box of throw-a-way mags that have seen action in Iraq.

Mine still had sand and dirt caked on them. Not sure, but I bet they were somewhere in the Middle East.

Three of mine sure did. They are in Iraq right now. They went to An Nasyria with a good buddy of mine. Hope they bring him home soon!

I sold the mags that I took to GW1 with me, so yes... somewhere there are 14 preban AR mags that have seen combat. At least 14... [;)]

The USGI mags I own have been to GW1 and back. They've since been to many range details, and have sat in my deuce gear until about three months ago.
Now they sit on my safe all nice and refinished with Durasilk G. |
