I notice there are a lot of people on this sight running around with collapsible stocks, fancy optics, andthe like and many commenting "we have so-and-so at work." It got me curious as to what everyone does for a living...

My "career" is an on-going process, mainly centered around aviation maintenance. I retired from the USAF in Sep 99, and presently work for a contractor in the aircraft maintenance training field.
No, the company does not let me bring the AR to work! |

I work on video games, primarily FPS (first person shooters). Go figure. [;)]

Enginerd...er, I mean engineer. My best friend & I both have wall hangers that say "Aerospace Engineering", but we both ended up working on interiors (he does aircraft, I do autos). So I guess we are glorified Iterior Decorators. Don't worry, there will be NO pink furniture on the AR [puke]

Fluvial Geomorphologist, say that ten times in a row! I work for the county and spend all week walking stream channels (good stream, poor stream, etc.) Shooting is just for fun, stress relief, and dinner....mmmm....dinner....

Electronics Tech/Television Engineer. Not commercial broadcast, just educational. I notice that many of us are very technically oriented people. I think that's what draw's us to the AR. It's a very Techie kind of weapon. [:D]

Law Enforcement in South Georgia, 5 yrs exp. and sometimes I even get to use a Colt M4 at work! But shooting has been a hobby ever since I was old enough to shoot.

Full time welder.
Part time freefall photographer and rigger for a local skydiving facility. Also on the side, I manufacture BASE specific parachute gear used for jumping off of Buildings, communication towers, Bridges and cliffs. Dad was a cop and he started me shooting at the age of 7. There's a problem with the poll - Posse Comatitus. Don't forget, ever, that 'law enforcement' is civilian - at least, the non-military contingent. My pet peeve is seperating sworn officers from civilians when there is no seperation.
