I was just wondering how the laws work when it pertains to rifles that are under the 16" legal barrel length.  For example, the new Bushy Carbon 15 is under 16".  Are these along with AR15 pistols considered "pistols" in the laws?  Please feel me in.

If it has a stock and a shorter than 16" barrel, it is a C3 weapon, an SBR. The Carbon pistols meet the AWB definition of a legal pistol.
