got my "thread protector" today.  This this is the shit!  Never have I been so excited about getting something so small and simple.  Let me explain.  I HATE muzzle brakes.  Why the hell would I need to tame the recoil of my semi-automatic .223.  However due to postban lower, can't use flash hidder.  This thing rocks.  Quick trip to the GS, and I'm legall.  Now I finally get to put my rifle together!!! Matches the finish of my barrel perfectly.  Anybody looking for an alternative to MB should consider this.  Half the noise, twice the looks.
