I'm gonna put a new trigger on my frankenvarminter, which is a better trigger?  I've narrowed it down to two for my budget: The Rock River Arms or JP Enterprise.

That's kinda' like asking if an orange or an apple is better.  Neither, because they're not the same thing.  The JP is a very nice single stage trigger.  The RRA two-stage has an excellent reputation.  So the answer to your question depends on whether you want a single stage or a two stage trigger.

I haven't fired the JP so I cannot comment on that but I can tell you how much I like my RRA 2 stage NM trigger set. Very smoothe and crisp. I would say about half the trigger pull of a stock Bushy.

Another vote for RRA if you decide on two stage.

I've had both; in fact, I removed the JP trigger to install the RRA 2-stage. They're both good triggers, but the JP's adjustment screws are a REALLY loose fit, and wouldn't stay put even when loctited in place.

Thanks for all the replies guys!

Guess I'll go RRA.  I didn't notice the JP was single stage, I saw my local dealer stocked it and would like to give him the business instead of just FFL transfers through him.  ;)

The gun is also a hoot quick firing.  The 24" bull barrel is compensated, which makes for about zero recoil.  At 100 yards it's easy to pop 10 clays in about 10 secs with a 10 round mag.  Will a 2 stage trigger be OK for this type of shooting?

My vote for the JP.  I don't mind a 2 stage, but I will take a single if it is available. I have the JP and I really like it.
