I would like to set up my Dillon 550 for 223. If I use a carbide resizing die, do I still have to lube the cases? I remember seeing a thread about it but can not find it again. If the answer is yes, what kind of lube, how much and how do you keep from getting it mixed into the other reloading stages? Thanks in advance.

Carbide rifle dies still need lubed cases.
Carbide pistol dies will work OK without lube.

You definately need lube.  Don't forget or you'll be inventing a way to extract a stuck case from your die.
