will the KAC 600 fit on the rail with the SIR?  I have the KAC and thinking of getting a SIR.

No, It will not, without some grinding on the KAC 600.  I tried this setup, and I was pissed that it didn't fit.  So I sold the KAC, and bought a Arms #40, and have never looked back.  I like the 40 over any KAC sight.

Grind a little on the rear lip of the SIR that is preventing installation. Then it will fit. Otherwise you need to go with the #40 or Knights 300.
