Steel 30 round mags, right? From what I have heard they are fine. Personally I would only get them if they were substantially less than a USGI, but I might get a couple just for yucks.

how much are the USGIs? where is a good place to get them?.........hell i dont even have my rifle yet(backorder)

Or click on "Equipment Exchange" then go to the AR magazines section. The USGI mags are mostly aluminum so they are lighter and mostly won't rust, but I haven't heard anything bad about the steel british mags. |

I got 10 Imperial Def. Mags. from R Guns for $150 plus 7.50 shipping. I've tested 1 mag so far. Loaded with 30 rds., fed all 30 and locked the bolt after the last round.Did it twice. These mags are OK in my opinion. They are blued steel.
