This is the AR I mentioned that was loaned to the LAPD during the N. Hollywood bank robbery.

I'm thinking about a Bushmaster Dissipator for the next one. I originally was thinking the A3 configuration but now I think the A2 is the way to go. Anyone have a Dissipator that would like to comment on the gun?

Ok, so I've edited it a half dozen times and can't get the photos to show. They are on the web but I can't get them here. I guess I'll fool with the imagestation thing.

Well I was trying to help you post the pics, but it doesn't look like those are valid url's.  Maybe someone can help us.  Double check and make sure those are the right addresses.

Well, I've tried all the ways I know how and can't get the photos on here. They are on imagestation at

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290211297

at least as far as I know. Anyway, if I ever figure it out they'll be on here.

I misread when I set it up and thought the password was for me to make changes etc. but it's gone now so anyone should be able to view the album. I am into it for a Colt 1991A1 in .38 Super, a Savage 10FP in .223 and $600 but I was into the 2 guns well.

That's cool. How in the world did you do that? Now I'm annoyed that I couldn't figure it out. Thanks for getting those on there. That is the only one available that I know of. I have no clue who got the other guns they loaned. I'm into it too deep for a preban gun but adding the history in makes it almost beyond assigning a value, to me anyway. I really get into historical pieces like that.

Yes, it is very Nice.
I just learned how to do the pictures myself.
On the Imagestation just right click on the picture and select Properties. Copy the URL of the picture and paste it in between this =
[ image ]           [ /image ] instead of the word image just use img !
And it should work great.
Anyhow Great piece of American History to own.
You have something no one else has !!!! Cool !!!

No, the gun shop got the guns back fairly quickly and then donated them to the LAPD to sell and make money for their officer's assistance program.. not sure what it's called out there. Anyway, the gun was bought through that I just got it as the second owner. I think it was only a matter of several weeks before they were originally returned to the gun shop, but I'm not positive on the time frame.
