Barreled upper of the Colt style system or Oly style system, Bolt for whichever system chosen,
mag adapter/mags for whichever system you choose. Refer to the "pistol caliber" section for more info on sub-caliber conversions...there is a "FAQ" tacked in reference to 9mm. |

I think sometimes you need another hammer, too, depending on the 9mm system you are using and the mag issue also varies with the system, like SBR7_11 said, you should read the FAQ section in the pistol section to get the basics.

buffer and spring from a .223 will work, though if you're going F/A then get the heavy buffer.
