I have just purchased a PWA Commando S/N Pre-Ban. My questions are:
Does the M4 style stock qualify as a folding stock as prohibited under the ban?
Is just the serial number alone sufficent to make it a pre-ban weapon?
Is the mussle break screwed on or shrunk on?
How do I identify the 16" barrel and the number of twists/foot.

Thank you

This has been beaten to death over in the legal forum.  It would probably make an interesting read for you.
Apparently BATF has ruled that a AW must in complete config or with complete parts set, etc. However, there is a question as to what exactly a preban SN'd lower with a pistol grip and collapsable stock would be if not an AW as it fits no other definition. Further, it would have to have been built as a complete AW prior to the ban to qualify. Go thru the legal forum so you know. Good luck.
You can also call BATF but you may get several different answers...
