I have seen the Dissipator mentioned on the forums several times.  Besides the cool design of the elongated handguards, what are the qualities of this rifle that make it so appealing?

Longest sight radius available on an AR-15 carbine.

For me it was a couple of different things...

1. Long handguards to prevent inadvertently touching a hot barrel.

2. The handguards stay much cooler than my carbine did.

3. Sight radius of a 20" and the handling of a 16".

And after giving it MUCH thought (I take a rifle purchase VERY seriously), I find myself leaning heavily in the direction of a Dissipator for these same reasons.
