hey guys, need some help. i have a colt 20 inch post ban with a broken shell stuck in the chamber and no shell extractor to get it out. is ther any other way to get it out without one?

If it still has a base use a cleaning rod from muzzle end. Make sure rod goes into case before tapping. Don't want to scrw up your bbl.

If the base is not intact, I've heard tell (but never tried it) that you can jam a bore brush (Maybe .30 cal) part way in the chamber, then pull it backwards.  The bristles are pointed to the rear and will pull it out.  Good luck.
