Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Side sling adaptor with some play in it?

I just installed a new side-sling adaptor on my m4-wannabe and I noticed that it has a bit of play in it - it will slide along the barrel and will rotate around the barrel.  Both movements are limited by the front sight tower, but I'm wondering if this thing is supposed to fit tight after I install the two spring pins.

That is normal, for a side-sling adapter, they do not fit tight.
