Looking at a pre-ban Bushmaster XM15-E2S, serial no L037xxx. 20 inch 1 x 9, birdcage fs, bayo lug, standard stock, 4 Colt 20 rounders, web sling, good trigger, and a one gallon pail of match brass. Finish decent but not phenomenal. Current owner has been using it in CMP shoots and has done real well. What ballpark figure would be fair money on a gun like this?

Unless it happens to be worth anything to you, the bucket of brass shouldnt be part of the price IMO. If it is and you actually want it, that's another thing. Fair price for a BM preban in decent shape is somewhere around $1500.

I would put the 'entire' package at about $1500.
