It was mainly an impulse purchase. I went to have a front sight on my Glock replaced and they happened to have a Bushmaster. Not many places around here have good rifles at decent prices, so I went ahead and got it.

Yes, that is a little steep, but it sounds like you knew it when you purchased it. Some of us don't have the cash and have to wait for the good prices [:)] |

I just picked up a Bushy myself..A little Christmas present to be exact. It's a 16" m-4 as well.

I try to think of it as more of an investment than a purchase. If the assault weapons ban sunsets, then I am not out any money. But if it gets replaced by a stricter law, then I am ahead of the game, I guess.
