I remember about 6 or 7 years ago U.S. Cavalry
had m18 milspec grenades for about $100 bucks a pop(pun intended)Purchased 2.

Does anyone know where to currently purchase
these? I have yet to come across a supplier or distributor that stocks these rare pieces.
Red,Violet, yellow it don't matter the flavor,
I would just like to get my hands on these again for my own personal amusement or SHTF.

I haven't seen those for sale in years, i'm not sure you can get them through standard catalogs anymore. I recently picked up three from a friend in trade for one G17 hi cap. Good deal huh! Seen some in the local nickle adds for 75$ a piece.

Last time I bought one, it was at a Gun Show. It was brand new in the sealed black fiber tube. Was kinda funny, the neighbor kids were lighting off smoke bombs in their back yard on the 4th of July. I fired that thing off, and was instantly the hero of the neighborhood. 10,000 cu.ft. of the brightest yellow smoke you ever seen.

A rare expensive hi-cap G17 mag that actually has some practical purpose for (3) mammoth smoke bombs?  You're right, that was a great deal..................for your friend.

You obviosly have no clue what these things go for. Sure, i tihnk $100 is insane. But that is what they are going for. I also think Gold prices are crazy...after all... it's jsut a metal..  [rolleyes]

They are jsut smoke bombs. Regardless, they are high in demand and low in supply. IF i could trade a glock hi cap for 3, i would definitly do it.

Auctionarms has them all the time.

Usually run about $65 for a M-18 with shipping container.

Yeh, 10,000 cubic feet of purple haze!
Just don't inhale that
lucky charms smoke deeply,
no matter what kind of fruity effervescence
you think you will get in return.
it'll burn your nostril hairs!

What did you search under at AutionArms?
I searched M-18 smoke grenades and smoke grenades
and got nada.

How would you ship one? Are they legal to ship USPS?

I just bought a green smoke grenade from auctionarms about 2 months ago for $65.

"M-18" usually works, I guess nobody is selling any right now.

UPS shipping is fine, but they must go ORM-D ground ONLY.

AFAIK: purple ALWAYS costs more. $100 for a purple sounds right. Sometimes they are $125+.

In response to OO- buskshot, G17 mags aren't "rare", infact I have a quite a few, and no longer own a G17. M18 smokes are worth more. If I so desired I could sell my three M18s and turn that one G17 mag that I traded into three. Make sense now? Do the math.
