Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Norrell's SOCOM Finish

Anyone have first-hand knowledge about this type of finish (especially on a Bushmaster)? Strengths and weaknesses? I've seen the kit on the Norrell website, but don't feel I'm gifted enough to apply it. Anyone know a reputable source for an applied finish with this product? Also, if someone knows of a comprable or better finish out there, let me know. Thanks.

Jonh Morgan (Prideboss) on this board regularly sells weapons that he has refinished using Norells finish. I have purchased one, but haven't taken delivery yet. You might try  and drop him a line regarding this finish.  BTW do you have a link for Norell's website?

I practiced on some magazines before I did my grey upper and lower.  It is an excellent and durable finish.  Norrel's from time to time will do refinishing.  You will have to check with them.
