I have been offer an M1 tactical, through a fiend of a friend, and want to know if the 2 round mag extension makes the capacity 6 (5+1) like the Benelli site says or is it 7 or 8???

Thanks in advance

TigerStripe,

Benelli M1's basic tube capacity is 3 rounds. The gun comes with 2-round extension tube, which makes a total of 5 rounds. (excluding one in the chamber)

In order to get that 7 rounds, you must get the 4-round extension tube. As a side note, if that gun is post-ban and you still want the pistol grip stock, the 4-round extension tube is a no-no.

Hope this helped,

Add to what Maverick siad, if you have or can get an older version of the Benelli S90 Tactical with the 4 round tube, you can also load an extra round underneath the carrier, this will give you seven rounds in the tube, one uner the carrier, and one in the cahamber. this makes a grand total of nine rounds of 2 3/4 OO buck or slug at your disposal.
