This is in regards to comments made by SWFA in the now heavily edited Tasco SS thread on the EE.
In that thread, SWFA came to the defense of the so called "exclusive to Tasco" SS scope they were selling. To wit, is it the same scope that is available elsewhere and most likely made by Hakko or is the other one just a cheap copy?
SWFA came on and said the other is not only a copy, but a piece of junk at that. The SWFA representative then went further to say that if a person wanted a cheap, low end, mil dot scope to play with to see if the user liked it, that they have scopes for $189 that would fill this void.
Now, everyone knows that the scope in question is the Bushnell Elite 3200. (I do not recall if it was mentioned by name, but I believe it was)Members brought up the fact that the SWFA web site raves about the 3200 as being a top quality scope that is a great value and excellent quality.
So which is it? Is the Bushnell Elite 3200 a piece of crap or is it a great scope? Can't be both, so I really would like to know, and I bet the members who have bought one due to the great review given it by SWFA would also like to know.
Marketing hype is one thing, but lying to the members that help pay your companies bills is just wrong, period.
Note- You can delete this post if you wish, but I will paste it elsewhere until you answer to your actions. I have nothing personal against SWFA, but what is right is what is right.
