I was hoping that you might have read and responded to this post while it was on the OPTICS forum but if you could comment I would appreciate it. You have always given me good advice and I have never regreted any purchase I have made with you so...
I am in the market for a low end spotting scope, in the $2-300 range. I have read a lot about the Leupold Wind River, Burris Landmark and Bushnell Spacemaster. Most owners of these appear to be happy with their purchase and I know that the Sniper Country review points to the Bushnell as the best deal but I also know the quality of Kowa glass and that most or their products are priced well above my break point BUT... Kowa makes a scope with a 45 degree eyepiece and with 20-40x power,TS-501. I have not heard anything from anyone on this or any other forum talk about this scope, does any one have any experience with it? I am looking to use it for viewing .223 on paper at no greater than 300 meters. I'd appreciate hearing from any one who can offer any first hand experience comparing any of the above. Thanks.
