Breathe deeply and slowly.
What you are feelings are the symptoms of BRD...BLACK RIFLE DISEASE.
It is not terminal, per se, but it does tend to drain your resources, disturb yur sleep patterns and familial relations, and it is ,of course, a lifetime affliction.
You've already experienced the tunnel thinking. Then will come shakes. Then unexplainable expenditures for accessories that you swore you would never own. Then...for those scary dark times in the safe when one rifle might get lonely, you have to get another rifle in a different configuration...and so it goes until you have several complete rifles, enough parts to reconfigure each several times over or even build a couple of new ones, and, of course, the discussions with your new Black Rifle Buddies about how many mags is "enough", do you really need another Beta mag, etc....
Sorry to have to braek the news this way.
