I understand the economics of it, but it doesn't make sense. Except that now that I am looking, most of their rifle rounds are VERY expensive.
Maybe they have lines that are dedicated pistol lines that they have to re-tool & redimension each time they run long case ammo like 45-70, 458 SOCOM, 500 S&W, 460 S&W, etc....
Only Pete, Jr. knows for sure....but I've never been fond of his tactics in relation to the 458 SOCOM "monopoly".
I wish Hornady or Black Hills would come online for you guys.......
