Not a complaint, but I think it makes a huge difference if you ordered the ones with the Magpul followers since they have to rely on availability of those parts independently of the mags. |

Found out today my order from Brownells that has been marked SHIPPED since Feb 1, really has not shipped at all and it still sitting in box at Brownells. That makes me mad.

Just to be straight, everyone is using ordered date rather than confirmation date?????
My 2nd order for instance, was ordered on 12/21 but not confirmed until 12/26. |

I haven't placed an order that got a confirm date. I never got a Back ordered email. When I ordered the ODG's they were in stock. Then 4 days later I read a post on here that said they were cancelling everything except black Pmags. Thus I have TWO back orders. And I'm not mad!!! |

Then the world changed, and back orders ballooned into the thousands – literally – and our system and the vendor’s ability to keep up just broke that logic. About 300 orders were moved to the head of the line under the old system logic, and had their orders shipped ahead of where they should have been in line. It moved all the rest of you back about 300 places in line – which, rightfully so, caused an uproar. When we found the problem, we immediately disabled this logic, truly resuming our first in first out policy. The real problem is that demand is far greater than any factory’s ability to quickly catch up. The good news is we have cured the broken system logic; thanks for telling us. have to say i am thankful for this message, something is better than nothing. Yet I will not hold my breath. When an order is placed for an in stock item but you are placed on back order yet 6 weeks later still nothing one has to wonder.

I personally have been waiting patiently since 12/20/2012 for my order and have heard your company will not throw 10 magazines into a box and ship, but must wait for the 10 pack box from Magpul. I ordered a Magpul 10 pack and am still on backorder since your company will not do this while other people who ordered after me have been receiving orders of Magpul Mag's only because they didn't order a 10 pack and ordered individually. |

I ordered three (3) twenty round PMags and five (5) thirty round PMags on 12/18. All items showed in stock at time of purchase. Of course they were backordered and I hadn't heard anything since. Tuesday I got an email saying my credit card had been declined and to contact Brownell's accounting. I called and spoke with them and got the issue fixed (expiration date was wrong). Total time on the phone was maybe ten minutes.
They re-charged me tonight for the five thirty round magazines. I am assuming the twenty rounders have yet to come in. No emails yet, but things are looking better. |

The kind lady I spoke with today said Magpul is OVERDUE on 2x shipments from January (on m2 non-window black)... It really sounded like they got their act together... we'll see.

Really? Now it is brownells fault that some email servers are faster then others? It isn't like someone sent out the email to 1 person at a time. It was a mass email that was sent to a list. Brownells cant control who gets it first.
People need to chill. They didn't have to even let people backorder at all. It could have been like other places that just put them in stock when they received batches and you had about 2 minutes to order before they are out again. If people needed these friggin things so badly why did they wait to order them until when everyone panicked and flooded retailers with orders????? If people need them so badly they are listed all over gunbroker and you can use buy it now and get them in a few days! Oh wait.... people want them at the cheaper price and right now to!!!! Stop ragging on these places! They are doing there best! Magpul and brownells could have both raised their prices and they still would be selling! But they didn't! So cut them some slack! Yea I ordered some in case of the ban. But the 20+ Mag's I already have in the safe will do me just fine is I don't get them. Rant off! |
