I've owned a few multi-reticle optics (PA Multi-Ret, PFI Action-4, some trashy TruGlo optic), and I've honestly never really used anything other than the single dot. Some of that is due to the need to rezero after switching reticles, and some of that is that a simple dot is pretty much what I needed.
It would be interesting to get Dimitri involved with this optic and have him develop some reticles that would be more useful. I mean, a set that's more like:
1. 2MOA dot
2. Eotech-style 65MOA circle with 1MOA dot
3. 12MOA triangle
4. BDC reticle with ranging for M855, 7.62x39/.300AAC, or 7.62x51
... that would be compelling to me, especially if the reticles lined up correctly and didn't require re-zeroing. Or, hell, have a red dot with a set that's three caliber BDCs and a 2MOA dot. The reticles are selectable so you can cycle the optic around guns, but you're really meant to just leave it alone once it's zeroed.
A key thing would be to have good documentation and instructions about how to use the reticles. The PFI Action-4 had some really handy reticles for shotgun usage, but didn't do a great job of spelling out usage scenarios.
Just some ideas.
