I have a 2012 ZM4 rifle in 5.56. When I first zeroed the rifle I found the windage was about halfway between center and the left limit of the windage to the left to get on paper and have an acceptable zero. I recently went to the range to confirm my iron site and red dot zero and found the windage need to be all the way to the left just to be on paper. My red dot is on and I have a quarter size group at 25 meters on a 300 meter zero target.
When I used my bore laser I found the dot was between the front sight most and the right ear of the front sight assembly, this is with the windage moved all the way to the left. The laser dot moves way right of the front sight assembly when I crank the windage to the right,
I removed the barrel nut and checked the clearance fit of the pin. The pin is tight in the slot with very little wiggle.
I have emailed DS Arms and I have not received a reply. I do not want to remove my front sight tower; I am looking for options before I purchase a new barrel assembly.
