Thanks for the sentiment, SpaKing, but I think the congrats is in order for YOU.....only $500- WOW, what a deal. Did you also get all the extras with it for that price, if so you should immediately go down to your local PD and turn yourself in for felony larceny ;-) The ten Colt twenty rounders alone are worth at least $220 (Georgia Precision sells 'em for $22.00 a piece). But seriously, congratulations to you, too. I know what you mean about that amazing and nostalgic feeling of having as close a replica to what was carried by our brave men in Vietnam. On the day I purchased mine, while I was still at the counter fondling it prior to loading it in a case for transport a gentleman walked up to me and asked to see it. As I turned it over to him I saw the look in his eyes as he got a purchase on the pistol grip and forearm. Sure enough, as I had anticipated from his countenance, he stated those words, "Just like the one I used to carry." I didn't pry, and he offered no more, but a mutual friend filled me in as to the rest. If your interest/fascination with the AR line of weapons is as deep as mine, you've done yourself a service getting an SP1. I now own seven AR's (the SP1 being my seventh), and I can't believe that it took me this long to get an SP1. Now I feel like my collection is getting very well rounded out. Continue to march with the AR purchases if financially possible, you'll rarely, if ever, be dissapointed. Take care. Cloak
