Cabelas has this rifle on the front page of its Hunting Sale Ad for $850 this weekend. I guess there are still plenty out there.

Dang, I thought this thread was dead a long time ago.
Did Cabelas have their model number misprint?
Anyway, I just seen this new Colt Competition Rifle model CSR-1516 which is similar to the discontinued LE6900 Light Carbine model, the noted new model have the same 16" no chrome lining barrel, upper receiver without dust cover and no forward assist, lower receiver with same enlarged fixed integrated trigger guard and same six position mil-spec size M4 buttstock with QD sling attach points, please correct me if I'm wrong.
The major changes of the CSR-1516 with the LE6900 are the new longer 12" with four long vents aluminum tubular FF handguard, different style closed bottom FS, Hogue with Colt logo over-molded grip, and the same M4 buttstock with QD sling mounts but now with Colt stylized logo.
The CSR-1516 have new markings, "Sporting" on the lower left of receiver, large "SR" on right magwell, and on the right lower receiver above the fire control pins it's marked "Licensed Product of ICHC B/I TEXAS".
This new model CSR-1516 is now made by Bold Ideas of Texas which makes the Colt competition rifles, it is their starter model competition rifle priced at (retail) $990.
Here's review and pic links of the new CSR-1516 competition rifle.
