Page Two, for updates......
...my ass!
My update is: within a very hurried 20 min shoot last Thursday, I did improve on that test target. I threw on the only readily available scope that was in rings that would let it fit on a continuous rail gun. A Bushnell 10x in one of those QD mounts you may have seen around... Not at 22x like the NF test scope.
My average of 5 separate 3 to 4 (don't ask) round groups with 175 gr FGMM was .919
My average of 4 separate 3 round groups with FGMM 168 gr was .797
People may be wanting better than that but they would be crazy. That is BA if I do say so myself.
4 of 5 with the 175 gr were less than the ave. but I let a group of 1.25 fly and you know what? I put it in the average. It was my fault, but it is my average.
One group with 168 gr was .469 and pulled down its average. That, of course, is the one I took a pic of and sent to my buddies and claimed was what they all looked like! Because that's what we do...
I feel kind of pissed at myself for posting grouping results. I don't know why, I just like that OBR owners just go and shoot their guns and don't go over analyzing posted test targets, and here I go doing just what I like NOT seeing from others. What the hell have I become!!! NO ONE ELSE DO THIS.
This is a great rifle guys. Stay patient, grasshoppers. And thirsty, my friends.
