So my first OBR comes with scope mount, hat, dillo, dillo dust, stickers, etc...
I got my 18" OBR the other day and the only swag were stickers.... not really complaining (just whining) as I've got a .54MOA gun but was a bit surprised... |
|
If you wanted something, you should have ordered it.
And yes you are complaining. |
|
I will send you a bunch of swag. All you gotta do is send me the OBR
|
|
Don't feel bad, when I got my Lite I didn't get my rails or an owner's manual. Alfred took care of me and got me my stuff.
|
|
I've not ordered an OBR but I have ordered from Larue twice. Once was a scope mount, PRS stock and extension tube for my brother, that came with a hat, dillo, dillo dust, stickers, constitution. Second order was just a water bottle I think and I got all the above minus the hat...
Be thankful for what they give you for free but don't be disappointed when you don't get one of everything they offer. If I had not received anything other then what I ordered I'd been happy with that Then I would have made another order and bought a hat |
|
Pat your dealer down! this has happened to me. My dealer took my dillo.

I'm happy as shit with whatever I get and give the extras to my friends in my OIF/OEF support group and they love it. when I got my lower I gave the swag to my FFL and they were so happy they couldn't believe that a company sends that kind of swag with orders. I think that she fell in love with Dillo Dust. I was trying to get them to try and stock some LaRue products I told them one day I will bring in all my stuff so they can check it out, but I just haven't got around to loading it all up and taking it there.
ETA all my OIF/OEF friends love not having raw hands after a night of long necks |

Got plenty of larue stuff from my many orders. Great company to deal with! You get the best product money can buy and then sum! |

Larue is cutting costs so he doesn't have to raise prices. If u didn't notice most things went up in price but rifles didn't.

That has to be a mistake on our part ... copy this and send me an email - as I'm in an azz rippin' mood today.

First - I am more than happy with my OBR - it's my second one. I bought #1 from my dealer after a guy couldn't afford it and it was available. The test target on #2 is .54 and it's better than my first one. I'll hold onto it...
Second - I was sitting in my dealer's living room when he opened the box on this one (#2) - he didn't swipe anything. Third - I've bought a lot from LT and they have ALWAYS been very generous with swag - that's why I was surprised when nothing came with this. But like another guy said, I'd buy his stuff regardless. |

Mark and Alfred were gracious enough to send me some swag for my OBR lite, even though I was not able to order directly from Larue..but, I went straight to the source...
Can't thank u Gentleman enough! Thank u! |

I just got my first order from LaRue and got a Dillo, Dillo Dust, stickers, and a constitution, plus some LaRue literature. The minute I saw all this stuff, I made up my mind that if I need anything gun related, I will go through LaRue first. The swag also sold me on saving up on a OBR.

Just the opposite on my OBR 7.62. I got the manual, but no hat. EDIT: I am not complaining. I have several caps and tons of swag that I have accumulated over the last year. Spent some money with LaRue Tactical in the last year. |

Dealers swiping swag is pretty common unfortunately. Ordered a S&W M&P15T a few years ago, and when it came in the ladder rail covers, mags, and Iron sites had all magically disappeared. Turns out one of the shitheads at the store had swiped it all and was attempting to pass it off as a basic model.
I about put my foot through his ass, and haven't used them since. |

The dealer I used on my first OBR was good to go....Got all my swag.....
When I ordered my OBR 5.56 I used a different dealer and they got my dust and hat......... The dust I got some o that, but the OBR owners hats those are rare and very dear to my heart.. |
|
The dealer here that transferred my Predetar rifle gave me all the swag, I assume, and commented on how much she likes Mark and his dillos. They had an LT sticker on the door.
|
|
I can't believe that no one here has said it, as this is the sort of thing that could bring him out...
IN BEFORE FIFTYCAL AL! Anyone heard from him lately? |

With my first OBR (7.62), all of the swag came in a separate box to the house and did include an OBR Owners Edition hat. The next OBR(5.56) version was a single shipment to the FFL and had the stickers and DD in the same box with the rifle, but was hatless. Most excellent rifle, but would love to have had a second OBR Owners Edition hat to wear, especially in the large size

I have to admit, I am a bit concerned about this. The FFL's I have done business with always open the box before I get there. I traded a glock that came with a patch. The guy behind the counter took the patch and stuck it in his pocket. I forgot it was there and didn't mind that he took it because he gave me a decent deal. However, I would care if the hat or dillo accidentally fell out of the box on purpose... I would pay for a replacement though. I wear hats all the time so I am looking forward to the predatar hat. |

There wasn't much room left for anything else with the packing and all. My sincere thanks for the quality, craftsmanship and speed of delivery even with our Atlanta snowstorms at the time! |

I took my scope, LT-104 and my upper to get my scope mounted/ zeroed. My gunsmith tried to keep my Leupold sticker and my Larue mount install kit. I had to argue with him about what was in the box when I dropped it off. After 10 minutes in the back he found them and was like "they must have fallen out". Right! and the blue loctite jumped on the screws in the process too!

When I received my LT 1911 slide, all it had were10 Ft Hood dillos.
