The Surefire Brake is fantastic, but as far as stocks go, the PRS is absolutely wrong if maneuverability is key for you. It's heavy and awkward, but does help for precision shooting. Personally, I'd just do the CTR with a cheek riser.
I didn't know you had an OBR, BUSHY?!?!?!
ANyways, from someone who does:
I originally had the A2 on mine with the A2 birdcage. I switched to the PRS and the Vortex. Here is why. The CTR DOES NOT provied this 'balance' that everyone keeps espousing with MY choice of optics and rail accoutrements. The PRS is a perfect match and allows me to have a range of movement depending on clothing and armor. It is about as perfect5 as it comes (for me), but certainly not unweildy (is that a word?). My suggestion is to taklke ot with the regular A2 stock , put all your stuff on it the way you like it, and then determine what is gonna suit you best. And don't limit your choice to the CTR or PRS.
As far as barrel attachements, unless you are gonna add a suppressor and use one regularly, get the A2 or better yet the Vortex. YOu wont find a better FH than the voretx anywhere. Additionally, even though the SF brake provides excellent muzzle control, it is the loudest contraption known to mankind. After a day at the range, the sheer concussion from that blast will cause adverse physical effects, especially flinching. Double hearing protection is in order. PLus, it is about 3 times more expensive. Even with the regular A2, the OBR has exteremely controllable muzzle rise-it really is all you need, but I suggest the Vortex to reduce flip and muzzle flash.
YOu will truly enjoy your purchase, You have time to add stuff as you go. Don't spend a lot up front or just b/c somebody says to. You will be able to figure it out on your own. CONGRATS!
