I was all ready to order a Stealth upper for my M16 but am wondering about the barrel handling full-auto fire? I'm TOTALLY sold on the idea of a polygonal rifled barrel being the most accurate option as I have shot them on "accuracy" rigs in the past, and I don't really want to ruin a really undoubtedly good shooting barrel putting bursts of full auto fire through it. I read the LW50 thing and was thinking, "aw hell...this would be fine on full-auto" but stainless...I'm not sure. What say you all?
I would say if most of your shooting is precision LaRue seems to be a great option, if you are just doing mag dumps and testing durability I'd say why not go with a chrome-lined option. It's your money but stealth products are built for accuracy in mind. To me it's one of those things like using a $1,000 sushi knife for opening a plastic package, will it do it? Sure but why not just use a pair of scissors?
