I am in Pittsburgh and I thinks its only a 4-5hr drive. Problem is the paperwork was just recently sent for the Uzi, so we have to wait about 5 more months. I got a M16 RR as well. |

I got to shoot a full auto Mac 10 a couple months ago. Awesome gun, shot about 2k rounds of Aguila 124gr without a single hiccup. Since then, I've had a real fondness for FAs. I'd love to get a Mac myself, but I don't think I could afford to feed it much, plus I have a feeling after awhile the allure of shooting owning FA goes away... |

My personal opinion on FA guns is that they are like boats, books, and women, they are cheaper to rent than to buy.

Quoted: My personal opinion on FA guns is that they are like boats, books, and women, they are cheaper to rent than to buy. My view is a little bit different. I have personally owned two MG's and the third is the Uzi. My first was a Mac. I owned it for a couple of years, then got the M16 bug, so I sold the Mac for a few hundred dollars more than I originally paid for it and bought the M16 RR. I owned the Mac MG for two years and actually made money on it (except the ammo). If I had bought a boat, a prostitute , etc. I would have paid for it, played with it for a while and gotten rid of it. I would have lost money in the deal. I bought my M16 RR at a really good price and if I ever decide to sell it I will make a very nice profit on it. I don't consider the MG's as an investment, but I certainly don't loss money on them like boats, books, women, etc. |

Letting others give it a try is pretty fun too. |

I had an MP5 years ago and sold it since it wasn't fun anymore after ~10000 rnds. Genius. I have a Colt 614 too, and no I will not sell it. Ever. I don't care if I do get bored with it, which I seriously doubt. I usually run it with a can indoors for about four mags and then stop since it gets very hot. One of these days I'll have to shoot it outdoors if I can find a freaking outdoor range that will let me. |
