I have a two year old Ultrastinger that's been plugged in all that time. Purpose was an emergency flashlight. Power went out last week, and of course the Ultrastinger is basically dead. About as much light as a match. I'm assuming it's the battery pack since the bulb can't have even one hours use on it.
Could not locate a part number for the correct battery on Streamlight's website, but it appears they manufacture them. I don't seem to be able to call when Streamlight's customer service phones are open either. I did find the name of a local Streamlight dealer from the website and went there. A police uniform place. They told me to buy a "real flashlight" next time.
Is it possible to replace the batteries on this thing or should I suck it up and buy a "real flashlight"?
Thanks!
