I sent a Colt post-ban 16" barrel to Steve last week to be cut down to 10.25", have the round forward handguard cap replaced with a triangular cap, the gas port opened to 0.093", thread the muzzle, and attach an early-style "duckbill" flash suppressor.
Knowing that ADCO is closed on Mondays, I expected him to receive it on Tuesday.
I got it back today, on Friday.
All the work was done as requested, and he even timed the prongs on the flash suppressor which wasn't requested but was a thoughtful thing for someone to do and speaks for his attention to detail.
The work looks great, meets the specs I requested, and when it is all assembled I will let you know how it shoots.
Did I mention that he crowned the muzzle under the flash suppressor? He did.
I expect he will be doing future projects for me as well and I highly recommend his services. I will be telling all of my friends about this job, particularly since it is so hard to get anyone to do anything and have it done correctly and in a timely manner.
Did I mention the speedy response to my emails and the excellent communication during this process? There was.
Thank you, Steve.
Will be talking to you again soon.
