Pmag 20rd mags have a follower that tilts. This is not an issue, of course, unless the round stays tilted, and does not return to a fully up position.
3 out of 3 20rd mags I recently purchased were having a high failure rate, with the bolt riding over the first round when charging the weapon. After hours and many rounds, I finally noticed that you could push down the rear of the top round in the mag, and it would stay in a nose up attitude. It would happen one or two times out of five. This is not something I want to have to check every time under stress. It does not happen on my 30rd Pmags, nor on my 20rd aluminum NHMTGs
Is this a design flaw that has been remedied? Mar 2009 manufacture in my case, 2 fde and 1 black. I returned them to my local retailer, but want to know what's up???
