I just got a Rem 700 Magpul edition. Looking for a good brake for it. Which one do you guys prefer? Best bang for the money? Also not sure what the thread size is. Is it the standard 5/8 x24? Sorry I'm new to this platform.

Area 419 Hellfire. The best performance in a 3 port brake and the best mounting system.
|
|
I got it at the Costco.

You may look at Strike Industry, King Break. Under $50.00 works well.

So far I'm leaning toward the hell fire. Looks pretty sweet and easy install. They are back order though. Any other suggestions?

If you don't need a suppressor mount brake, definitely check out the APA Little Bastard.

The SilencerCo ASR brake works well, is accurate, and is less than $70 if you look around.

APA Little Bastard Gen 2 is excellent. Uses a jam nut to install so timing is simple. $130 from APA. Buy once.

A little harder to get timed, but it doesn't kick up much dust if you get it timed right. |
