I was wondering if there are people running slr handguards on their rugers. I want to hear your opinion and see some pictures of the handguards on the rifles.

Question I have is it slimmer than the Midwest industries rpr handguard? I like slim handguards and thought the Mi was to fat. What are the measurements for id and od?

It is slimmer. I believe the Midwest hand guard was built to fit over the barrel nut. You can see the SLR does not.

On some of the rails listed (it might just be the Ion series), you will see a drop down box for a "Ruger Insert." Make sure you select it. It bridges the gap over the barrel nut so you have a continuous rail along the top
