I have a GG&G bipod that I really like and want to use on my bolt gun. The m40 has 2 forward sling swivel studs. Should I try and get a piece of rail that spans the 2 studs? Or is one enough? I have a bunch of small pieces of rails that I could use but none long enough to use both studs.

I have used that one and it works. The Seekins BC version works well also.
