Certainly an interesting approach to Cerakoting.  My concern is what happens over years and thousands of round of use?  My guess is that Cerekote (paint) doesn't have nearly the durability as action steel.  So what happens when you intentionally machine 0.004" of slop into the action and then the Cerekote wears away from use???  Re-do the Cerekote every 3,000 rounds?!?!?

I applaud his talent, skill, and resourcefulness...  I'm just not sure about the long term outcome.  Does he have any data regarding this?

Linear abrasion should be a strongsuit of Cerakote.

Maybe so...  ever see cerakote finish wearing off the end of a barrel or slide from leather holster rubbing?
