I just ordered a new Versa Max for 3gun. I ordered a Nordic aluminum low drag follower. In my 870 I have an older style Nordic titanium low drag follower with spiral cuts in it. I want to put the better one in the Versa Max. Which one would be best to use? It honestly seems like the old one might be better. Do the spiral cuts make much of a difference?
Here's a pic of the two. Left is the new Aluminum follower, right is the older version.
