Details:

Check-in: Check-in will open Friday, 4 May at 12pm. Shooters will be allowed to walk the stages on Friday after 12pm.

Start Time: The safety briefing is mandatory for all competitors. For Saturday AM competitors, the safety brief will be at  8:30am on Saturday in the field outside Bay 1. The AM shooters will start with first shots at 9am. For Saturday PM competitors, the safety brief will be at  12:30am on Saturday in the field outside Bay 1. The PM shooters will start with first shots at 1pm.

Match Fee: $150.00 per person.


Match Format:

The 2018 3GN Ohio State Championship is an official 3GN event and will be run according to the 3GN Club Series Rules. The following divisions will be available: Factory, Practical, Unlimited, Heavy, and Practical Pistol Carbine.

3-Gun carts are recommended for the match for transporting gear from bay to bay.



Ammunition Restrictions for DVGC in addition to all 3GN rules:
Dawg Valley Gun Club has additional range rules and ammunition restrictions in addition to those already listed in the 3 Gun Nation Rules (per rule 1.2.1).  No steel core, green tip or bi-metal ammunition on any stages containing steel targets for rifles.  No bi-metal or steel pistol ammunition on any stage containing steel pistol targets.  Max slug weight of 1 1/8 oz. for any stage containing slug steel.  Shotgun slugs are limited to 3/4 oz., 7/8 oz. or 1oz at 1600 fps maximum velocity and 1 1/8oz at 1500 fps max.    Slugs must be lead only for all stages containing steel slug targets.  Bird shot has a max shot size of #6.  All birdshot has a max load of 1 1/8oz at 1300fps, max 1oz load of 1350fps and 7/8oz at 1400fps max.  Any targets engaged with ammunition in excess of the restrictions shall be scored as FTE’s (example 62.5 seconds per MGM Spinner/125 seconds for MGM Double Spinner).  Any targets damaged by use of incorrect ammunition will be charged to the shooter and collected by the MD before they continue in the match.
