You don't want to?
I kill them at every opportunity. Summer is best for me, warm at night. Not as easy to see them as in the snow I guess.
Hate the filthy things.

I think its another month till anything is even open here Dumb that the tickets run 3/1-2/28 if nothing is open (I don't do birdhunting... no shotgun)

ETA: 5/12 Coyote opens back up... and groundhogs 5/24 is squirrels... then its a long time till anything new opens..

I need someone to drag me around like a puppy, I guess at least its exercise.

we waste them any chance we get around here.  If you're on private land (and almost all the good spots are private in CO), then there's no season for them.  Don't even need a small game permit either.

Summer has always worked for me in Nevada.

YMMV.

In Missouri, there's only one week out of the year (spring turkey) that the season isn't open.

Growing up farming, I can count on my hand how many times I didn't have a gun on me for such reasons.

We're lucky here in Nevada. There is no season, no limit, and no license is required for Coyote.

They can be killed 24/7/365 with or without artificial light, and ANY type of legal weapon can be used.

However, if you are going trap and/or sell the pelt (even the tail or any part of the varmint) you need a Trappers License.

Jackrabbits are also open 24/7/365 and no license is required.
