Went with a Versa Pod 23". I hope that it works well enough not to hinder me.

I took an 18" target barreled AR to the range once(it was a buddy's uncles) that thing was nasty heavy.
Unless I wasn't walking far to my stand, and my stand had a good way to hold the rifle up to shoot, i wouldn't even bother taking it hunting. I hope you're not planning on walkin very far with it....unless you're looking for a good workout. |

Installed the Versa Pod. Not sure if I'll like it or not? No major hikes involved (I hope). Looking for a good varmint scope for it now.
