Tell the boy good job and nice buck. I have no tried them but the crew at the local gun shop are talking about them and the fusions.

They're much cheaper than the Fusions from what I remember at the store, kind of a dark horse really. They're not much more expensive than the basic Power Point loads really. I like the idea of a bonded bullet. So far, I've been shooting 150gr Nosler BTs out of my 7mag with devastating results. The fragmentation blows up deer real good; sometimes they cause more tissue damage than preferable, but the fragmentation puts deer down quick. My good friend DPeacher gave me a box of 140gr Barnes TSX's to play with and they shoot very well too - they perform like all TSX's do with decent expansion and no fragmentation. The bonded bullets seems to strike a happy medium with more expansion than the TSX's, but not quite as explosive as the Noslers.
To be honest: Central Texas whitetails go down with a .223.
