found it 40 feet away.
not a doe though, a button buck, very young buck. small but should be good eating.

I arrowed a button thinking it was a doe; amazing how it can happen with the thing only 25-30 yds away.

congrats, I'll be going Friday morning with a fellow Arfcom dude. Will post results. I see doe and buck in the backyard constantly. A smallerish 6 pointer was checking out the smaller bucks.

Look at the head, look for the long nose of a mature doe. Nuthing wrong will killing a fawn for good tender eating. But if you cant tell the difference between a fawn, a yearling, and a adult doe. You will end up killing alot of button heads.
