Just a rant here,
I just recently acquired a Epsco NFB 0-32 v power supply. This thing is a tank! It weighs 84 lb, fully adjustable voltage.

Boy what a score! especially the price (free). they are "cleaning up" at work, which translates to throwing away.
I was so excited I wasn't paying attention tho the face plate...
15 amps! This silly thing only puts out 15a


Now I'm stuck with a HUGE boat anchor of a PS that will run a 2m rig and that's about it!
BTW I found out by putting it online and my 756pro would blank out when keyed, but not at low output power. RTFM!

Oh well, live and learn I guess.
Thought I'd share.

I have a couple of old variable power supplies kinda like that, they are unregulated so the voltage drops significantly under load.
